Do I need to be measured for a compression stocking?
Yes, as compression stockings are individual to each person. Measuring for a compression stocking should ideally be done in the morning when the legs are rested and there is less swelling. Stockings applied in the morning will prevent swelling and must fit properly before swelling develops. Willaid do FREE stocking measurements.

Do I need a doctor’s prescription to purchase a compression stocking?
Ideally, yes, as your doctor will know what class and style of compression stocking you require based on your medical condition or leg swelling. Compression stocking prescriptions are comparable to having a medical prescription.
Will my compression stockings last forever?
It depends on how well you take care of them however it is actually recommended that compression stockings be replaced every 6 months as over time they will start to lose their elasticity and therefore their compression. We stock specific cleaning products to assist in keeping your stockings as new as possible. It is also suggested that you buy 2 pairs so that you can wear 1 pair while the other is being washed.
Are compression stockings difficult to put on?
They can be yes, the more compression or higher stocking class you have the tighter the stocking is so the more difficult to put on. We stock various different aids to assist you on and off with your stockings, we can also practice with you if required so you can make sure you are applying them correctly and easily.

The supple and elastic stocking offers value for money and is also very durable. The circular knit compression stocking is intended for the treatment of thrombosis with tendency for slight oedema, varicosis in pregnancy and inflammatory venous diseases with tendency for moderate oedema. Also recommended for the treatment after sclerotherapy and/or surgery.
