When purchasing complex and expensive health care equipment like scooters, powered wheelchairs, lifters and adjustable beds it’s important that you think about service and maintenance. It hardly needs to be said that people are extremely reliant on this equipment; so making sure you will be able to keep the equipment functioning properly is an important part of your purchase decision.
Willaid has a professional and experienced service department that is equipped to service all the brands we sell. We understand how reliant our customers are on their health equipment and work to make repairs quickly and can often arrange for a loaner when repairs are extensive or there is a wait for parts.
We offer scheduled maintenance services with nursing homes and hospitals to check equipment. We conduct thorough service and safety checks including testing and tagging electrical equipment, conducting weight tests to ensure equipment is still safe for stated loads and cleaning out bed castors.
We are often asked to repair equipment not purchased from Willaid and we do our utmost to provide this service. However, on some occasions we have difficulty getting parts for lesser-known brands.
We urge anyone purchasing health equipment to ensure that parts are readily available and someone local will be able to do repairs and servicing.
